Their contribution through the Canadian Atherosclerosis Imaging Network (CAIN) supported much of the infrastructure and technology backbone of CIPAC's facility. |
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is the Government of Canada's health research investment agency, one of three national academic funding agencies. CIHR was created in 2000 under the authority of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Act. They have supported CIPAC by providing operational funds through the Canadian Atherosclerosis Imaging Network. |

Alberta Innovates Health Solutions (AIHS) is a funding agency within the Province of Alberta that supports the operational costs of outstanding and internationally-competitive health care research programs. At CIPAC, AIHS has contributed to the development of open-source software modules integrated into data analysis pipelines of many research programs. |

Calgary Stroke Program | Seaman Family MR Research Centre | |
The Calgary Stroke Program (CSP) is recognized as one of the leading programs in North America for stroke treatment and research. Located at the University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services, the program leads and participates in multiple research and clinical trials in acute stroke treatment and rehabilitation. CIPAC has partnered with the CSP to manage imaging data storage and transfer and database quality control over their whole research porfolio. |
The Seaman Family MR Research Centre (SFMRRC) is a unique facility at the University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services Foothills Medical Centre that provides infrastructure and support to medical imaging researchers and programs. Research is focused around advancing medical imaging techniques in basic science and clinical medicine. CIPAC is partnered with the SFMRRC investigators to support data management infrastructure. |
